Job Description
- Reports to work on time; reports absences and status of field personnel to Order Management Manager.
- Coordinates dispatch plan with Help Desks and clients on daily bookings.
- Receive calls from drivers and accurately record pertinent information and incidents related to dispatch. Address and report problems/incidents and recommend resolutions. Maintain logs and records of calls, activities.
- Assigns, orient and dispatch drivers/checkers for truck assignments and other activities related to order management. Provide field units with information about pick-ups, deliveries, traffic, obstacles and requirements.
- Ensures that prior to dispatch of drivers, that BLOWBAGETS has been done and trucks are in all condition; Coordinate to fleet manager for any repair required. Maintain documents and records related to dispatch activities according to ISO standard.
- Monitor and checks the movement/status of field personnel and vehicles to ensure compliance to dispatch plan.
- Other functions deemed necessary.
